Blackpool are embracing virtual reality to help players improve technically and make better decisions in match situations.

The Seasiders are 18th in Sky Bet League One, just two points above the relegation places.

Off-field issues have dominated at Bloomfield Road in recent months, with former owners Owen and Karl Oyston told to pay more than £20m to Latvian businessman Valeri Belokon, who used to own the club.

But Blackpool are hoping the use of the latest technology, which involves wearing headsets to use software linked to game situations and training scenarios, will help them climb the table.
