The funeral of former Republic of Ireland international Liam Miller has taken place in the village where he was raised in County Cork.
Ex-Celtic and Manchester United midfielder Miller died last week, aged 36, after losing his battle with cancer.
Ireland manager Martin O`Neill and his assistant Roy Keane, as well as Miller`s former Republic team-mates Kevin Doyle, Aiden McGeady all attended the requiem mass, which was followed by Miller`s burial.
The service took place at the Church of St. John the Baptist, where Miller was christened and confirmed. Miller, who is survived by wife Clare and three children Kory, Leo and Belle, went to school across the road from the church.
